One should work on their fluency and not focus on grammar and it is a great idea because grammar is such a boring part and by more focusing, on it, we just get bored and lose focus towards the main thing that is speaking skill. Do you think people are gonna ask you that ‘Hey can you define what is Noun and what is Adverb’ I don’t think it’s so and it is not much more important for communication so work on Fluency not much more on grammar? When it’s come to Fluency you need to pay attention to Communication skill it’s not Grammar. Of course, Grammar is gonna help you when you want to write good and correct English but when it comes to communicating with people I feel that it’s your fluency which gonna help you and not Grammar. Fluency includes your Vocabulary as well so if your Grammar goes wrong it’s perfectly fine but if don’t have the words you are at lost. If you don’t have a strong vocabulary you can’t form sentences. While communicating if you think about grammar ‘oh my God is this tense is right”, Which form of the verb should I use’ then surely you will stick there and your communication will make a bad impression to others.Yes, Grammar is important but now your focus should be on fluency not much more on grammar. And one thing more is that you should also take care of Pronunciation because wrong pronunciation can make confusion for another person to understand.
